About Monster Anthology

What we cover

Monster Anthology follows Netflix's Monster anthology season by season. For each season we keep a complete episode guide, a season hub, and focused explainers — the recommended watch order, how the cast compares with the real people they play, and the documented true story behind the dramatization. The current season covers the Lizzie Borden case, and we go deep on the 1892 trial that the series draws on.

How we work

Every guide starts from primary material: Netflix's own announcements, trailers, and cast interviews for what is on screen; court records, contemporaneous newspaper coverage, and established historical writing for what is real. We keep the two separated on the page — when the show takes a liberty, we say so.

Real people appear in these stories. Where a person was accused but not convicted, or was acquitted, we describe events as allegations and dramatizations rather than facts, and we link to sources so you can read the record yourself.

Independence

This site is a fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix or any production company, and no studio has reviewed or approved its content. Images come from TMDB and Wikimedia Commons, and videos are embedded from YouTube.

Corrections

Release dates move, casting news breaks, and historical research gets refined. When we get something wrong or something changes, we fix the page and note the update. If you spot an error, tell us through the contact page — corrections from readers are one of the best tools this site has.
